From what I understand it takes a bit of engineering to set him up at home to do the color. If this was just recent they may be busy with the regular stuff to prepare for the game. I watched an interview with someone New Years eve who spoke to how much was actually involved to just carry on an interview for a number of hours. Maybe the network simply didn't have the time or manpower to do it on short notice. Or maybe he actually has symptoms. That would certainly present problems. ??
