why the heck did they have a white stripe on the bone pants for this game?

last week I noticed that the white on the pants was not the same color as the bone jersey

listen seriously - the way the Rams have handled these uniforms has been a complete disaster and as most of you know I don't think they are awful... but why did they add a white strip to bone pants?
