I don't know if I heard the whole Q & A. The Rams' radio station is the same as the Lakers (who will be tipping off shortly) so they might have cut things short.
But when they went away from him, the guys hosting the post-game show (including former LB Kirk Morrison) acknowledged that this was par for the course in terms of McVay assuming responsibility. But they (post-game crew) also opined that it was pretty clear that Goff did not play well again and that there was only so much that coaches could do.
They (including the few callers they put on) were of the consensus that, at the very least, Goff needs to be pushed by a true QB competition in the off-season (which is where I stand).
