One thing is clear: If the Rams win another game, they are in for sure, as they Bears can only get to 9 wins and the Rams would win 10 in this scenario.
So what happens if the Rams lose out and go 9-7?

If the Rams lose out, they lose against the Cardinals in Week 17.
*If the Cardinals won yesterday*, this would put the Cardinals at 10-6 and the Rams win the h2h tiebreaker with the Bears at 9-7.
In other words: If the Cardinals won yesterday, the Rams would be 100% in now.

But the Cardinals lost and this means if the following happens,
LA < SEA
LA < ARZ
CHI > JAX
CHI > GB (who might rest starters)
, there is a three-way tiebreaker between CHI, ARZ and LA at 9-7 and the Rams would lose it and be the unlucky 8th seed.

What goes in the Rams favor: If they lose against the Seahawks, the Packers can't clinch the 1st seed, hence they probably wouldn't rest starters against the Bears.

To put it in a short and clear manner: If the Rams lose out against the Seahawks and Cardinals, they basically have to hope that Aaron Rodgers doesn't fail to clinch the playoff bye against the Bears.
That's not the worst proposition, of course.
