You know, it is absolutely not going to happen unless Goff gets hurt, but I can see it as a good idea. I never understood why there is no relief pitcher if the starter is shooting blanks. I would love to see coaches use multiple QBs throughout games And then if one gets hurt the other guy has been playing and you're not screwed. Who is to say that Goff can run this offense better than Wolford? With Goff taking every snap we have no idea what our backup can do in a real game. He hasn't taken any.
Baseball uses several pitcher. Basketball uses subs at every position. Hockey changes whole lines every couple minutes and yet the first strong QB takes every damn snap every game unless he is crushed? Never understood this idea.
