Tomorrow is my 44th year as a Rams fan! It alllllllll started..

When as me, my Dad and my Brother put up our Christmas tree, we watched the Rams beat Dallas 14 to 12 at Texas Stadium. I was a Dolphins fan but so was EVERYONE else down here. I sorta wanted my own thing. I did NOT like Dallas. Looking up to my Brother, I agreed with him that the Rams jerseys looked so cool. Well...THEY WERE! My only clear memory of that game was Haden's TD run, the HUGE 4th down stop by the Rams D (BARELY!) and the Rams Punter taking the Safety to seal it. I WAS HOOKED! That Christmas, I got my first Rams shirt. The old Sears Wish Book NFL sweatshirt. Had the blue sleeves with the Rams helmet in the middle and "Los Angeles Rams" circling the helmet. It's been a fun 44 years with TONS of memories. In some ways...and I told him when he was living, about 25 years ago, my Brother gets some credit for me being a Rams fan. That day we put the tree up, I was more focused on the tree till my Brother commented to my Dad how cool the Rams looked and that they were giving Dallas a very tough game.
