The asterisk was that I don't trust Goff to produce fantasy numbers against the Pats. Part of that is that I don't trust McVay to roll out an effective running game against Belichick.
I suppose you can argue that Goff is the reason we lose when he's asked to carry an offense beyond his limitations but I don't see it that way. He is rarely the primary reason the Rams lose games. 43 wins - 20 losses since 2017. Name the times in those 20 losses that Goff was the primary reason they lost and we can continue the debate.
