Towards the end of the game I was defeated.... the loss didn't just 'feel' likely it felt inevitable.... thinking of that last SF drive...
And reading the Game Time Forum posts... I wasn't alone... I don't think anyone, not a single one of us, felt SF would miss that game winning field goal even when it was 60yds out... it was over. It didn't get 'more' likely he'd make the FG when the Niners got it down to a mere 50+ yd attempt... It was as sure from 60 as 57 as 50 as 47 as 44.
