Was Fisher a better HC than Carrol? No, but for some reason those 7-9 Rams teams really gave the Hawks all they could handle year in and year out. Some teams schemes and personnel are just better matchups against certain teams than others.
Seems like the 9ers are built to be a thorn in the Rams side.
They are a physical run team on offense and are at their best when they have to defend short passing games. Thats exactly what the Rams hate of defense and love to do on offense. Its just a bad matchup.
And on top of that all, if Goff does anything today, the Rams win this game.
