I don't want to fight about it, and I'm not saying anyone is wrong no matter how they saw it, and I'm certainly not taking Brady's "side"

But that replay seems to me that it was a forward pass, according to the rule. I've read that some think that his grip on the ball had been lost when his arm started forward... I can't see that, after watching it several times. I'm not saying he absolutely and beyond doubt didn't lose his grip on that play.. but I do not see any evidence of it on the video.

As for the holding.... well that was flagrant. Hate to start a conspiracy theory here but if the officials, all of them, not just this crew, judged holding on players blocking AD precisely as they do all other blockers in the NFL I think flags would fly so often it 'could' ruin the game.
