I also like the fact that Johnny Hekker though so highly of Gay, he recommended him to McVay (Guess Ginger's stick together), which has me thinking maybe John Bonamego doesn't have much of a say. Overall I feel the Rams realized a bigger leg was better for kickoffs alone. Gay kicked every ball out of the end zone with the exception of the last kick, which should not have been returned because of the height and half was in the end zone, which led to a return only to the 20, which was even better.

Some of the kicks were fading to the right, which is how he missed the 44 yarder, however, with the game on the line, the 40 yard field goal, was true and hopefully the kicker roulette is over and Gay can settle in as the kicker for the Los Angeles Rams for several more years.

What does that say about whoever made the previous calls on our kickers? Bonamego? McVay? Whoever it was shouldn't be allowed to make that decision again. lol

For the first time all year, I wasn't sweating out every kick and it felt good. Gay might miss a few but he will make more than he misses. Good hire so far!

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
