Staley & his defense need to play well enough to win Monday night

The Rams have taken on a defensive identity in 2020 but this game Monday night will tell the rest of the world if Staley is as good as advertised.
The Rams defense can't give up 28 to 30 plus points Monday night regardless of how bad the offense plays.
Elite defenses in the NFL show up even when the offense sputters and doesn't look capable of scoring more than 17 points.
This game Monday is a chance to put the Rams defense & Staley on the map as Super Bowl contenders.
Of course there are intangibles and other factors that play a big part but elite defenses don't fold in big games.
