but there is still part of me that says... yeah but
Seattle lost both RBs... that made them very one dimensional and played right into the strength of the Rams defense
The Rams defense has played really well... but there is a part of me that still says ... yeah but
You know what a good old 24-9 win on the road in Tampa will change all of that though lol
While this is very true the same 2 RBs were missing from the game before where they Scored 34 points in a loss against a pretty good Buffalo Defense.
And the week before that, Same 2 RBs were missing in a game they Scored 37 points and Beat the Niners.
Even before they lost Carson and Hyde, they haven't had a 100 yard rusher in a game all season. Wilson with 84 is the top so far.
The Mantra this year for Seattle has been "Let Russ Cook". what the Rams Defense did to Seattle should not be diminished by the fact their top 2 Rbs were missing because this season its been all about Russ Wilson. Now, if a team who relies on the run like SF was to enter a game missing their top 2 backs, well then I would be inclined to offer up that asterisk. Obviously entering any game missing any starters is a big set back, But Seattle knows, their success hangs squarely on Russ Wilsons shoulders. Living here in the pacific Northwest its all I have been hearing since the end of last season. LET RUSS COOK.
