Yes, Miami is a better defense than Seattle, but the way Goff was checking down and rolling out and passing out of the blitz was night and day.

What I was hoping to see was exactly what I did see from Goff and the play calling.

Wether it was a desperate flip to Henderson, a screen pass to Woods, or a bootleg run by Goff, there were many different ways pressure was being attacked. You burn a zero pressure blitz and the entire script changes. That is how Goff ended up having more time for longer developing plays as well.

Now we need to work on that internal clock and be a little more urgent in the pocket. But it is clear to me that Goff can still get better and can learn from his mistakes, and that is tremendous news.
