All the more reason to not go after them through the air....beat them up, be physical....Goff throwing too many balls is exactly what they want to happen. But as I said stats in this game go out the window, stats are for fans anyway IMO...They better bust their chops on the ground and throw quick stuff or Goff will be asked to do too much.....You can't stop Wilson normally, slow him down yes, stop him no. Best way to stop him..keep him away from the ball...slow him down by bad field position.
Flipping the field if when we don't score (Hekker big time) will help with that field position.
But trying to run the ball too much is playing to their strengths and avoiding their glaring weaknesses....
They can stuff the run, they can't stop the pass..... you can still bleed clock by throwing the ball so I would imagine McVay is going to attack their pass defense as he should
