1. Akers paired with Hendy and whoever is hot in a given game keeps getting fed. Healthy competition between those two plus skill/talent on the field to breathe life and explosiveness into the backfield.
2. Jefferson starting over Reynolds. Like the above it's coming soon and the mismatch that will result in our favor means several or more first downs per game than what we get from JRey.
3. Rapp in the dime next to Kiser. Staley was doing this a bit before we lost our rookie safety. He's coming back, so this should be a thing that will help the defense be faster off ball and better at tackling in space without giving up too much in run fills.
Ok one more thing too...
4. Settle down the kicker position. We don't need a star. We need a solid kicker whose range McVay feels and understands so he can make good decisions on how best to finish drives.
