Tua was a non-factor... thank God Fitzpatrick didn't play... Tua did nothing zero nada... so no the defense did not play poorly
They had 8 first downs. Two TDs scored by the offense came directly off of Rams TOs.
Down 28-7 you can't just run the ball every down
I don't know about a lot of drops... there were a few
Goff had time to throw and sometimes he was pressured.. like all QBs... and dammit Todd the guy is in his 5th year... learn to read a blitz every now and then... stop letting him off the hook for that stuff. Does McVay have to tell him everything in his ear!!! Come on at some point he's got to recognize protections/coverages etc...
The first int all he had to do is read the defense to know he had that defender coming. The bad part about it was he always goes to Kupp and the LB was waiting for it... he could have easily thrown it to Higbee who was open.... but he just frickin panics
I disagree there were issues everywhere... the main issue was the damn QB and everything fell into place from there

they weren't playing against Joe Montana
that was a rookie in his first start
ST was awful
McVay stopped running the ball
lots of drop GE, Kupp even Woods
penalties negated long drives and key first downs
FG kicker missed again
Goff had no time to throw
Yes, Goff was horrible, but there were issues everywhere
