The guy can play and represents an excellent target for an organization who can see through the BS. He's a young signal caller and needs a good unit around him and a good offensive staff. If they deal him to that type of situation I think the team that gets him will hit big.
If I'm the Jets GM my concern would be getting the right head coach in there who can establish that strong offensive staff to develop a QB. Whether it's Lawrence or Darnold that is the key to whether they do anything in the next several years. And if some team offers me a windfall for Lawrence I'd take it, move down, and build around Darnold.
