I believe the Ram's to be a playoff contender.... but at this time lacking in what it will take to advance very far... NOT because of insufficient talent, or necessarily coaching... though players need to get smarter, more in synch, stop with the 'prolonged' lulls which will kill you come playoff time.... and McVay needs to improve play-calling as well.
because I believe the Ram's playoff material I think they are underachieving in some aspects of the game... so I agree with you, they have to get better.
What I'm getting at is my criticism, which will probably grow more severe, does not spawn from a "The Rams are bad" attitude... it will be born of what I believe it will take to make, then advance in the playoffs.
