Bah! Both are great in their own right. I get the hatred and I enjoy seeing the Pats lose, but I'd taken Belichek over McVay anyday. I'd say they were more like Lennon and McCartney. Far better than average. The sum of the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It's more than just a great "process" and it's more than just excellent talent, but both are strong in their own right.
Jim Kelly and Dan Marino were two of the greatest QBs ever yet none wears a ring. Belichek built the greatest football dynasty ever. He did it with an exceptional QB.
As it stands right now, Brady is doing fine against the Pack.
