The TD that Goff ran in for example, was a play designed for Higbee, but he was covered tight the whole time.
That coverage commitment opened it up for Goff to run.
Higbee's blow up last year has made defenses key on him, which means Everett is not being noticed, thus he gets open.
This could change as the next team watches film they may key on Everett.
It sucks for fantasy, but for real life, being able to take what the defense gives you is awesome. If they commit to shutting down Woods and Kupp then we see more passes to Reynolds. If they commit to shutting down Higbee we have Everett.
As long as our long holds up well, we have a really good offense to play with!
