I have a couple of thoughts and questions on this move.
1) Does this signify that Rivera is throwing the towel in for this game? I always thought Haskins was a stupid pick at 15 for Washington, but he seems to have held his own more or less and became a team leader. Benching one young and developing QB for a less proven QB, with less proven leadership, seems to be a stupid move.
2) Does this mean that Washington is admitting that the Haskins pick was stupid?
3) Why not give Alex Smith the shot?
Hopefully the Rams will be able to capitalize on Washington's disconcerting change, put them down, and finish them, instead of allowing them to stay in the game like NY did.
This should be a good win for the Rams.
