This is the first time I've witnessed Sean not blame himself for the play calls in the post game interview. I personally thought as most fans that he didn't call a good game.
What was telling was that he commented on execution as though the play calls were sound but the players messed up. I suspect he wish he could take that back publicly but he was genuinely frustrated with the execution. He mentioned Goff doing well at the end but didn't say he made the right decisions throughout the game.
We saw him chew Blythe out after the whiff that caused a sack. We saw him livid about something toward the end of the game. We also saw him get defensive about the questions reporters asked after the game as he continued to reiterate that they won.
Man, I wish we could join the film review he has with his staff this week. I still think there are some tells offensively that gave the Giants the ability to diagnose the plays. I hope he discovers what they are.
