We have a new DC, we don't have all the horses in the stable.
This game was a different type game. The bills have a QB who can really adapt on the move. He's big, strong, and very agile. All that adds up to him being able to add a lot of time for guys to work open, he also has the ability to throw guys open. I think our DB's are fine, we had several chances to get the guy down, but our rushers plain out whiffed on the chances. The RAMS aren't the only team who are going to that against Allen.
Must admit though that having Lewis up and running could solve some of that if he's back AND healthy...and Robinson as well can add some new breath as well.....that's coming sooner then later.
I choose to look at this game as to how we reacted. We came back and did that with pure want and talent as well. That bill team is loaded on both sides. Our offense took it to them and they were on the ropes defensively in the end. That bill O is loaded at WR..
The only place of concern for me is our coverage and return teams....very, very weak. The kicker is a rookie and he's playing exactly like one....that coverage team ain't helping him a bit. These short kicks he does could actually put teams in poor field position, but instead with our poor execution in coverage it's going in the opposite direction....IMO fix that and it could be actually a game changing thing.....
