The media and bandwagon are two terms for the same occupation.
Before the season, the Rams were dog meat.
Now they are top sirloin.
If they keep winning, they'll be Prime Rib.
If not, if they lose a game or two they will be back to dog meat.
That's why it's not such a good idea to hang one's opinion based on what a bunch of sports media guys think.
