It is my understanding that both O and D schemes will be tailored each week for each specific opponent.
Teams always do that anyway, but I get the impression that Rams will be doing it much more this year than previously. I think that this will be particularly true on Staley’s D.
Additionally, McVay is no doubt still tinkering with RB and TE’s to better assess which players are most effective.
Staley will be tinkering in many more position groups and schemes. Might be midseason, maybe longer, before Staley is done tinkering.
