Dallas was always punting from midfield, which didn't give anyone a chance to return one, and the one time they kicked deep in their territory, he hits a bomb that sends the returner running back to field it.. If its a punt from midfield with little chance to return, I'm all for using Kupp, because I truest his hands and we sure don't want a muffed punt deep in our end of the field..
No fake punts may have been a result of WHO we were playing - our old STs coordinator who may be able to sniff out a fake punt by some giveaway...
Kupp returning punts may also have been due to near as much practice time and/or preseason games.. he trusts Kupp not to drop the ball..
I'd let the season unfold a little more before I give up on STs.. Well, except the kicker - he's got me doubling my blood pressure meds..
