What does that mean? What is sufficient value? Is there reason to think he won
Pretty simple, reggae.
Rams considered Everett more valuable in their ‘20 plans than any future draft pick offered by another team.
If Everett finally hits his stride in this ‘20 O then the Rams TE will be a nightmare to defend in coverage and devastating in the Ram running game. That’s a lot of value.
The Vikings reportedly offered a mere 7th for Higbee a couple of years ago. That gives us an idea of what teams might have been offering for Everett. Aren’t we glad that the Rams declined that offer for Higbee?
I'm gonna guess that if anyone had offered a #1 for him Everett would be gone. Coming off an injury and Higbee's breakout, and on the east year of his rookie deal, I imagine teams recognize Everetts's talent but wanted to try a buy-low gambit. I'm an Everett fan. As a receiver and RAC guy I think he's more gifted than Higbee. I wouldn't want the Rams to trade him for anything less than a #4, and I doubt they got that in offer.
