I see what you mean but to me they look more akin to the gray old-timey knickerbocker baseball uniforms but with out the bagginess.

personally i like everything about both uniforms except the gradient fade on the numbers for the home jerseys.

really can't stand the ram head logo, the LA with the horn above it logo is much better (wish that were in center field.... oops, i mean mid field).

it's all subjective anyway, i hated it all after i initially saw the helmet and uniforms unveiled (shock of the new is a phrase that comes to mind) but after sleeping on it they grew on me quickly.

from a design perspective the positive with the new horn on the helmet corrects some distortion issues because of the curvature with the newer helmets, also the blue helmet now matches the home uniform blue.
