Higs alone makes that true. But Everett is also very talented and has all kinds of upside with his RAC ability in the open field. And Mundt developed nicely as a solid blocking option who can also flex in the backfield and do a little lead blocker action. It's a really nice threesome.
Then you have a rook taken a year early to replace Everett. Which shows the team is thinking ahead and planning on keeping that TE room at a good level. Chances are he's not gonna sniff the field, but a redshirt year for a TE is not a bad thing. And if he does end up getting on the field that's a great indicator for us as only the best TEs show anything early on.
I'm happy with that room, that's for sure. In fact I think we're good at all the offensive skill positions. WR room, RB room, TE room, all of them look talented and deep. If the Rams struggle it won't be because of any of those groups IMO.
