So, the deal seems to be--the Rams picked up a guy for nothing because he had problems, and the hope is, he has fixed those problems with their help. And if he hasn't, it has cost them nothing.
The reason he's getting these chances in the first place is because of tremendous raw talent. The issue has been what's between his ears.
Have there been players who bounced between 3 teams in their first 2 years and then started? Sure. It's not rare. Most recent example is Troy Hill.
