I agree. They drafted Hopkins with an eye on him being the TE2 in 2021.

Everett has never become the Rams' Jordan Reed we hoped he would. But he's hardly been invisible either- 70 catches over his 2nd and 3rd seasons including 34 in the first 9 games last year. I think he'll continue to contribute- probably inconsistently- this year.

And I'll remember Everett 20+ years from now for this:
