I think Higbee is a better athlete than Everett
He bigger, taller, faster, of course that doesn’t mean Everett isn’t a good athlete of course he is but IMO Higbee is the one that startles
That being said Everett simply needs to stay healthy and have opportunities to show what he’s got. I am convinced in another offense without so many options and where he would be a focal point he would emerge
I don't have any quarrels with what you said. I do think health is the key with Everett.
But, it's interesting that Everett was having a little break-out of his own in 2019 before getting banged up.
Everett in 2019:1. games 1-3: targets = 7, catches = 6, yards = 43
2. games 4-9: targets = 49, catches = 28, yards = 322
3. if set 2 were 16 games: targets = 130, catches = 74, yards = 858 ... would be ranked among TEs as 3rd in targets, 6th in receptions, 5th in yards
Higbee in 2019:
1. games 1-8: targets = 27, catches = 21, yards = 192
2. games 11-16: targets = 62, catches = 48, yards = 542
3. if set 2 were 16 games: targets = 165, catches = 128, yards = 1445 ... ... would be ranked among TEs as 1st in targets, 1st in receptions, 1st in yards
