How about this for an off-the-wall idea for a possible delayed season?

Couldn’t they have a season that began in October and ended in late January?

Or a November-February season?

Followed by the usual playoffs?

Not ideal, but certainly doable, if necessary. Would keep medical treatment options open for an additional 30-60 days, maybe longer. Who knows what medical advancements might be developed by November, given how hard they’re working on this?

Hmmmmm...
