When I was growing up it was tough being a Rams fan. Tough because it hurts a lot more to go into the playoffs thinking you have a good chance only to lose than it does to finish out of the playoffs. For 13 years we rell into the latter category. The first playoff loss I really remember was the 1974 NFC championship game at Minnesota. Tommy Bell called seven holding penalties on us that day, and only two on the Vikings. That game sticks out in my mind because in my mind we were the better team and I was so young.
