All of the Old Guard remember where they were when Ferragamo hit Bill Waddy for that touchdown. I was actually in the car with my Aunt & Paternal Grandmother driving up where they lived to spend time with my maternal grandparents. My father instructed me to keep my emotion in check as it was nice of them to allow me to listen to the game on the way back. And when that play happen, I held it in as best I could and My Aunt asked me, "Oh Den, was that your team that scored?" I said in a whisper, yes, and my grandmother replied "Oh that's nice." When I arrived at my maternal Grandparent's house, I ran in and my Grandfather said..."How about those Rams?" And I shouted with glee!

All I remember is my older brother teasing me that his Cowboys are going to beat my Rams again and him laughing. Then it happened...a miracle in my mind. The joy I felt has seldom been matched in my life. I cut out the game story in the next day's paper so I could remind my brother about the game for years to come.
I even remember one of the photo's in the paper of that stupid chimp in shoulder pads and Cowboy gear at the game. The heading said the Rams made monkeys out of the Cowboys. I loved it!
