This is a prime example of having to figure out if you have depth or just a bunch of bodies... I think Kiser can be solid inside. I was never a fan of Hager being anything other than a ST guy. Reeder, I thought, did OK considering he was an UDFA rookie 3rd stringer thrust into a role he wasn't yet ready for. I think he's OK depth.
Howard and Young are both athletic and talented but this is a prove-it year for both.
Johnston? We'll see. He certainly has every chance to seize a role.
Hopefully the odds work out and between the 5 of them- Kiser, Howard, Young, Reeder and Johnston- 2 of them are pleasant surprises.
