Anyone recall the Steelers fan in the late 80s???

I recall seeing the Steelers playing the Raiders on TV, when I was stationed in Arkansas. The game was in the Coliseum. I remember the camera zoomed in on a Steelers fan in a jersey. I remember the announcer (Enberg??) saying "That is one brave fan". WELLLLLLL... The next day , I heard the guy was assaulted. I THINK even stabbed.
