Well, lots of them, really, but 4 in particular intrigue me the most. Four knock down, drag outs for your viewing pleasure.
In no particular order:
A 3 way race for PK. Honestly, Snead/Bonamego have excelled at bringing in top talent to compete for the departed GZ’s job. I don’t see how any of the 3 could be considered to have the inside track at this point. I’ve got a peaceful, easy feeling about coming out of this with a great PK. Gregg who? Lol.
How ‘bout them backup QB’s? Another 3 way battle brewing. Don’t see how we come out of this with anything less than a promising backup and a ps QB for future development. Again, kudos to Snead/O’Connell for this crop. Place your bets.
Only a 2 way race for starting RB but it might be a doozy. ‘Winner’ gets 60% of the snaps and ‘loser’ gets approx 40%? Could be quite a RB by committee this season. Don’t go to sleep on that Xavier Jones kid, either.
Lastly, how about a 5 way race to start opposite Floyd? Every snap is critical for those candidates. Strong competition is gonna be great for this D.
