But you know what's funny... The more I look at this secondary group the more I think Johnson might be the odd man out. He missed a ton of time and is a pending FA. Meanwhile you have a fine young safety in Rapp who gave us a huge boost in our run defense so he's not coming off the field. So what will be interesting is if Hill defends his CB2 job and Long wins the CBn job what do they do with Burgess?
And that's a good thing too of course. The competition in our secondary should be excellent and that tends to produce good things on the field.
Agreed, Merlin. To describe competition for a starting position in our secondary as anything less than fierce would be understatement for anyone not named Ramsey and maybe Rapp.
