My favorite memories of the 80's would include...
1. The 38-14 blowout of the Cowboys on Monday Night Football in 1980.
2. Leroy Irvin scoring on 75 and 84 yard punt returns in one game in 1981.
3. Dickerson becoming a superstar early in 1983, especially the games against the Jets (192 yds + 85 yd run) and Lions (199 yds) in consecutive weeks.
4. Dickerson breaking the single season rushing record in 1984.
5. Scoring three safeties in one quarter against the Giants in 1984.
6. Starting out 7-0 in 1985.
7. The 27-20 win over the 49ers on Monday Night Football to take the Division in 1985.
8. Dickerson running for 248 yds against the Cowboys in the 1985 playoffs.
9. The promise of pairing Dickerson and Everett in 1986, especially in games against the Patriots (Everett's debut) and Dolphins (Everett shootout with Marino).
10. Everett and Bell helping the Rams rebound with a winning season in 1988.
11. Starting out 5-0 in 1989.
12. The Flipper Anderson game in 1989.
13. Outstanding offense with Everett, Bell, Ellard, Anderson, and Holohan in 1989.
14. Epic run of three road victories in cold weather to reach the NFC Championship in 1989.
15. Capping off the decade with Flipper's run into the tunnel at the Meadowlands in OT in 1989.
