Throwback Joes has them. Got my usual #11 with MY name on the back. Been trying for 15 years to get one. For SOME reason (Looking down and away) my old one SUDDENLY got too tight??? LOL Well......I did buy it in 1991.
Congrats on the purchase gator.
(LOL!) It's fan allegiance to the old school colors and schemes that I think will doom the new road jersey.
When the St. Louis Rams visited Quaalcom Stadium in 2014 to play the Chargers, I went to the game sporting a dark navy "St. Louis" Rams cap. Well, although I was far from being the only Rams fan in attendance that day (nearly half the stadium consisted of Rams fans), it seemed as though I was the ONLY one sporting anything referencing St. Louis. Whether it was ripped; had ketchup stains on it; faded from a million washes; or, something from Throwback Joe's, all the other Rams fans (even the kids) were sporting something old school.
There CLEARLY was a resistance to the newer dark blue colors and that resistance never went away (even when they returned home). I suspect there might be a similar type of resistance to the "Bone" color for fans attending road games in the future.
If that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised to see the organization dump them in favor of white roadies.
)))))
Well, I got my tickets to the Rams/Dolphins game, if there are fans allowed. I'm prepared to see the Rams in the bone color but I'm not expecting to be amazed by them.
I think people (maybe just @#$%&) are hoping that they all of a sudden look amazing somehow. I just don't see that happening.
I hope that the bone experiment lasts for just this year and then we send it out to the boneyard.....
