I don't know if this is actually true but from what I remember hearing or reading somewhere was that most people had black and white TV's in the 60's and the blue and white combo was much better for the black and white TV..... then in the early 70's color TV finally took over as the main TV set and the Rams went back to the Blue and Yellows that they wore for most of their ealrier years of the 40's and 50's
