Since the new uni came out a lot of people talk about the blue n yellows, which is becoming the standard in the discussion. So some say the blue n yellows are far superior to the 2020s which they hate, some say the blue n yellows are the standard but they like the 2020s almost as much (and a few even say they like the 2020s AS much). A lot just say they like both without ranking.
In that whole discussion I think the blue n whites get lost a bit.
I know a lot of Rams fans my age and older who love the blue n whites as their favorite Rams uni. Some of those like the 2020s, some don't.
I see the blue n whites and blue n yellows as virtually the same uni. I know they did the shoulder stripe different and there's a yellow collar on the blue n yellows, but to me those are minor differences and they are the same uni--except of course white v. yellow. I like them both and to me they are both classic. I have more immediate identification with the blue n yellows cause that's the team I started following. Lots of history there--Vince to Waddy, #85, Dickerson.
Personally I like the new unis.
But I like the blue n yellows too.
I don't feel compelled to choose between them. To me, the blue n yellows are history, and are associated with lots of memories and positive experiences. I also have no argument with those who identify so much with the blue n yellows they just wanted them to return, without any updates, and so they hate the 2020s. IMO that's just a matter of taste.
