Demoff lied when he said the horns were untouchable and look what happened. He had too long to think about new designs and was eventually convinced that 3-D needed to happen.
I still have no idea why they eliminated the curl of the horn around the ear hole. That is a bigger offense to me than the hit or miss 3-D decision.
When we rebranded in St. Louis, I always kept telling myself, at least the horn was spared.
Well, that is no longer the case. Demoff could have prevented this from happening but failed us.
He's an enemy of the fan base right now and I don't see how he could redeem himself unless he fixes the horn on the helmet and sleeves again.
@#$%& might not ever live this down. It doesn't help that he was a smug arrogant @#$%& by trolling everyone and lying about the logo hat. Now that he ruined our ICONIC helmet design he is now even more disliked by many.
I think you are right, his only chance at redemption is to fix the helmet horn and jersey. IMO, he is too proud to ever admit his mistake. Maybe he can blame it on somebody else!
