Another thought...could Akers be our backup QB? If we keep two QBs on the roster and they both get hurt maybe Cam could take snaps for us. He would have Hendu with him in the back field. With a limited roster and tight cap signing a Cam Newton to back up Goff might be too costly. I like Wolford S the #2 and haven't seen the UFAs yet, but it could add depth to our roster if Akers was the #3. Also, the extra roster spot could go to a second PK. Teams are in big trouble when their kicker gets hurt. We have 3 PIs right now. Maybe we keep 2 active and 1 goes on practice squad
