But she was a voice of the early 70's, for sure.
Sometimes I have trouble remembering the '70's lol. Those were the days...at least I think they were!
I just can't remember the names like I used to. But I can see all the faces and hear all the voices.
Seems like we remember all the good stuff and forget the really bad stuff. Yet, being in my 60's now isn't nearly half bad. If I don't want to do something, I don't have to do it. And I just say so. I think it's a perk. At first it worried me that I was being called a grumpy old man, but the reality is it doesn't matter what anyone says. Most people are annoying anyway.
I love hearing that Max. I thought it was me. I'm in my 50's and I've already noticed I really don't care what people think (worthless waste of time) and half the families on my cul da sac (late 30's-40's) are the "look at me" type of people that get into their little clicks. And even though I was a kid in the 1970's (4-13), that decade did have some of the greatest rock music of all time!
I hear ya. Looking back, I think the younger crowd needs that to keep them motivated. So be it. As you said, we were there years ago. Been there, done that.
