jrry32 is amazing and I'm not sure he was that dissiapointed with the first two picks, but he's concerned about the Terrell Lewis because of his injury history and he felt Lewis played not to get hurt last year, which limited his ability. Let's be honest here, most of thought Rams need Offensive Line upgrade, especially a Center or Guard to start from the get go and a Left Tackle for the future, apparently, the Regime of the Rams felt differently.
We are about to see who's right and many of us hope it's them, but in the past, it's been us as much as it's been the Rams. jrry is trying to rationalize why no Offensive Linemen or inside backer early and if there is 2020 season and the Offensive Line does not seem to gel instantly, many of us will feel the same way.
I think he wanted Hennessy. He said something about all the WRs he wanted were already gone when we took Van. Don't think he wanted anything to do with E.Cleveland. But yeah, he didn't hate Akers and Van, just disappointed that we didn't get OL help as most of us were.
I was ok with Akers over Dobbins, but who knows? Wasn't a big fan of the Van pick mostly because I don't see him providing any needed explosiveness to our offense.
I am all for trading Everett for either OL help or ILB.
