silly eval of Akers....I'm all for constructive criticism..

But not at this level of minuscule detail...that appears petty. In slow motion, everyone can second guess EVERYTHING that any human does...it's an easy shot to take. There's obvious critical stuff that can be said about any/all players...but criticizing split second foot reactions just seems kinda silly. Why not show me how Akers fumbles, or misses blocks in pass pro, or drops balls, or misses holes, etc ?? Why this guy would zero in on foot placement when plays fall apart - is like breaking down a car accident!!

What's funnier, the negatives the guy says about Akers way of reacting to the play...STILL resulted in Akers being successful and most of what the guy said was hypothetical - as in, "if Akers keeps doing x...Akers will probably get injured in the NFL".

I'm not defending Akers just cuz he's a Ram...I wanted Dobbins and so am not putting down any negative criticism...it just doesn't seem very valid and /or actionable to me anyway. But thanx fer posting it...it's good to hear the pros & cons of hitchhiking...oops....I mean, players.
