.???
Please no Allen, Demby or Noteboom
We don't know about Noteboom. He improved at guard but was starting there when both OTs were playing below their own standards. And tackle is NB's position, not OG. Granted he has to recover from surgery, but I think any conclusions about him based on his early games last year are way premature.
I see
Whit
Colbert
Blythe
Evans
Havenstein
Noteboom, Edwards and Allen as gameday backups. Noteboom and Evans will be given the chance to compete for Whits spot, and maybe Havs, for next year, or sooner if needed.
What I was responding to was the comment that said "please...no Noteboom," which as stated implies he is no good and is the same status as Demby. Of course he won't start in 2020 (if there's a season)--if nothing else, he's re-habbing.
BTW I disagree with one thing in your list of starters--I don't see Colbert over Edwards. I see it this way---if Hav plays, and Evans goes to one guard spot, the other guard would be Edwards.

I know you
realize how treacherous this OL is right now. It may be ok, assuming no injuries, but more likely it won’t be good. And it’s quite possible that it will just about as bad as last year, and probably the worst OL in our division. In any event, it won’t be a strength. Bosa and company will be licking their chops.
No I don't share that view. I see it as pretty likely that they will be solid. And they have depth for an injury or 2. If the 2 OTs play as poorly as they did to start the season in 2019, then, they will probably struggle. But whatever caused that, I don;t see it happening again.
It's not a matter of "realizing" something--we just have different opinions on this.
